what sparkplugs are you running in your boosted cars?
Just wondering what plugs everyone is running in the motors?
Im awaiting my drag 4 kit here in the next week, just curious as to what plugs you are running. Im running Zex plugs right now, for my zex kit, can i use these or should i step to a diff sparkplug?

You can also get BKR7E as well, the 1.1mm pre-gap is not necessary.

aite well i know accordfreak has a boosted f22 with around what is it 7-8 pounds of boost? now does the spark plug matter with motor/build and amount of boost?
Ill be running the same setup as accordfreak.

definitely. cold means it extracts more heat from the chamber. too hot, and they turn white. too cold, and they get fouled with fuel- black.
stock plug for my b18a is bcpr5e-11, but i use the b18b spec ones which are the zfr5f-11. their insulators are bigger. i picked up some zfr7f's for when i boost, but i thought id try them n/a just to see. well my butt dyno likes them and they arent fouled so im leaving them in. will i try 8's when i boost? sure its worth a shot.
in the acura manual it says that under severe or hot conditions (stop and go traffic etc) you should run one plug colder. on the other hand, people say to run one step colder for every 75hp increase.

Re: Re: (XDEep)
Average boost applications one step colder is enough, high boost you guys know what your doing surely NGK7s for me a sohc that go's up t0 10psi when racing, these bitches idle rich so don't go colder unless you need to
