Default How to do auto transmission fluid change?

How do I change the ATF on my car? Does it need to be performed by a pro or is it okay to change it in the garage?

Also, any reccomendatoins for what ATF I should use?

Simple drain and fill will replace 1/2 of your ATF or about 3 Qrts.

The drain bolt is located on the passenger side.
It has 3/8 square hole in the middle and the tool to open it is 3/8 rachet.

Like Teken said, shop can replace all ATF with a pump that looks somthing like this: http://www.motorvac.com/TRANSTECH/transtech.html

As for what kind of fluid - you can use Honda ATF Z-1 or Mobile 1 synthetic ATF.

Good Luck.
