Default FS: Air/Water intercooler Spearco core, meziere pump, reservior, and cooler BIG PIX

SOLD!!!

Picture is worth a thousand words:

Now I have some screen shots to show you guys concerning the efficiency of this cooler.

This first one is a shot after my drive to work. In case the pic doesn't come out to well the green line in the middle is the intake air temp, its hovering around 85 degrees.

The second pic is after adding a bag of ice to the cooler. The temps drop from 85-90 degrees to around 15-20 degrees as measured by the gm ait sensor using my ems. The red line shows the drop.

The last pic also has coolant temp logged and displayed so that you can see these temps are on a heat soaked motor. The air temp is right around 20 degrees and the engine temp is around 205.

I also uploaded the datalogs for anyone that has taken the time to download the aem software if they want to look at them and verify the data. The logs were taken while sitting still but at the track I haven't seen any real dramatic increase in temps during a run. This set up has served me well for a while but I need to sell it so I can pay for a motor. The datalogs are listed below. Sorry for the giant post.

Right click and Save as:

Datalog 1

Datalog 2

Datalog 3

I will include all of the fittings that are currently on the set up and all the hose and any extra hose that I have as well as the relays and switches that I have set up for the pump and the fan on the water cooler. Looking to get 850 shipped.

yes, and the relays and switches for the fan and the pump if you want them. I will include all the hose and fittings that are currently on the car plus i think I have five or so extra feet of hose that I will include in case you want to mount the reservior in the back of the car rather than on the passenger floor.

On a side note, tonight I went to the track and this intercooler must have saved my motor. I packed the tank with ice and topped off with 100 octane and bumped my timing on my ems up a few degrees. After my first pass which was horrible due to traction problems I hit the peak and hold button on my greddy gauge and it read 1.5 bar. I don't know how long I was at that boost level or how it even happened for that matter but I know my motor is still intact and I went on to run 13.349 @ 108.77 mph

you would need a different IC, but everything else in his kit would work. i would love to have that setup. something to look forward to down the road when that stupid annoyance(that can be great if you have it) isnt holding me back, take your guess at what it is(money).

I have actually seen a similar cooler on a JRSC set up on here somewhere. They weren't using quite such a larger intercooler though and there was a lot of piping that didn't look good for super charger performance. Seems like it would work great for a vortech set up. Don't they market and aftercooler very similar?

for real, the core is rated for 700 CFM

Up for Adam. Buy this **** so that he can build his GSR motor and be almost as fast as my LS

Seriously guys, this setup is the ****. He busts my ***** every time im in his car about never having to worry about pulling timing for AIT temps. Where most should at any point of driving the car and getting heatsoaked.
He didnt take any shortcuts with this water/air ic setup!

A few questions, do you drive that thing everyday and how high does the IAT go up to during long duration of driving? where did u get that radiator for the intercooler and how much? does that radiator for the intercooler keep the IAT in a constant temp?

yes, i drive the car everyday. after a trip say 70 miles the ait temps read around 105-110 degrees. The temps are very stable. I got the radiator for the water from summitracing.com, its listed as a trans cooler.

Sale still pending, should see the check this week.
