Thanks George... I was so emotional about even posting the link, I didn't even pay attention to what I was doing...

Asking price isn't the same as a final selling price. It seems like reasonable asking price to me.

Thanks guys, I also want to put a plug in for Dust who is selling his 98' for 20k at about the same mileage.

I'm asking $19k cause I think with the diminishing numbers, and the care it has received, it's fair. Most importantly, I'm posting it here first cause I rather it go to someone who will really enjoy it for what it is. I've had one offer, a few months back, for over the $19k I'm asking. I'll burn in freakin' got damn hell before I'll sell it to that guy! I'd rather never sell it, than see it cruzin' Austin like it should be in this months issue of Lowrider magazine... would have been a nice little profit, though it would never set right with me. Then again, why should I care what someone does with it once it is gone?

Zeus- who needs to go buy a few scratch offs cause he really doesn't want two car payments and really will miss his R...

Thanks for the plug Zeus. It pains me to sell mine as well. Why don't you forward that info on over to me, I don't mind mine looking like it should be in Lowrider magazine It can't be any worse than what I'm driving right now.

Disclaimer, I'd also like for my car to go to an enthusiast as I'm sure we all would when the time comes to sell. The lowrider magazine thing was a joke for those that didn't catch the attempt at humor.

Anyway, free bump for you.

Dust,

Told you about that months ago I thought, got cornered by a father and son outside the gym... The kid had $6k to start, and dad was going to help... I just wasn't ready to sell at the time, and esp when he was talking to dad about tail lights and 18's...

Reid,

The GSR was an unexpected new birthday gift/project car for the wife... you know how they are... "I'm never going to get rid of it, I love that car". With 11 and 7 year old boys, it's best I keep 4 doors from here on out anyway...

Man, I really wish that this were March of '04, and my lease was already up. Nice cars.

Well, two possible buyers, one "with the money" and another awaiting the closing sell of his own car. One or both of you guys need to call me tomorrow early, as I'm on the way to Gunn Acura in the morning. I'm going to see what they have to offer on a buy back... One member got $18k out of them for a 01' ITR. I'll be stopping by a few Mitsu dealerships I've spoken to as well. The wife is going along also... be nice in case I don't like the Acura deal and have to drive two cars home... It pained me this evening as I removed all my "gear" from the R... just in case she don't come home with me tomorrow...
