Default Time to see what oil you using, yeah another poll.

Its been a while since the last poll for motor oils.

Lets see what is the top choice still...

I only am able to put in the 9 choices, but if you use something that is not on the list please add it in. But to those who add something else- Beware-
I do not work for a oil company, just want to find out what all of you use

I would like to know the amount of oil you burn per 1000 miles of street use too.

I'm using Mobil 1 5-30 and I burn about a quart per 1000 miles if driven hard.
But when I do a HPDE sesson I can burn a quart alone

pennzoil 10w30 high mileage in summer - moly!

i burn 1-1.25qt every 3333miles which is better than the 1.5-2qts with mobil 1.

Mobil 1 0w-40 Tri synth. Since 10,000 KMS. Now at 62,000 kms.
My car doesn't use any oil between oil changes ( every 10,000 kms) unless i'm at the track. Then it uses about 100Mls ( about a mouth full ).

But I believe my lack of oil use ( even using this thin oil, which is both over and under spec's) is due to my run-in method. IE:- Don't listen to what the manufacture tells you about run-in. Their method just help them get more money out of us.

Later.
