well, i dont know if i have to replace the bulb, because it still goes on, but i guess it is something inside of the clock not functioning right...
keep suggestions coming. it is the digital clock from the new accords 99.

the blub burn out, but you need to replace the whole clock, it cost 12 bucks at honda. The blub is built inside according to the guy work in honda, cant be taken apart.

The guy you talked to is a dumbass. They have a replacable bulb. Honda even has a service bulletin on it.

What don't you understand?
What don't you understand?
Just take it out, whack it against your leg a couple of times, take a look for the bulb and make sure it's tight, then put it back in. If that doesn't work, remember that you can pick up a new clock for under $20 from Honda.
I assume you know how to remove the clock, right? Put some masking tape just under the clock on your dash, wrap the head of a flathead screwdriver a couple of times with masking tape, and gently pry up from the bottom of the clock assembly. The masking tape is to make sure you don't scratch your dash.
