Pics of my new SSR Comps
Got the rims on. 16x7 SSR Competitions with Yoko AVS ES100's.
I may still adjust the height in the back for a little more 'give'. I have the shocks turned very stiff right now, may loosen them up a bit.
Let me know what you think.

Yeah I really like em.
They are 205/45/16's.
I really like the handling so far. There's more road noise and it is rougher than stock (obviously) but the handling is amazing. Taking corners is so smooth and I took em for a little run around a few onramps and was going some pretty fast speeds for the turn. Car STUCK to the road... no squealing, no sliding, nothing. It got to the point where I was going faster than I am usually comfortable with and the car just followed where I wanted it to go. It was awesome!
As for the acceleration, I am really impressed. I have noticed no loss in acceleration from stock, quite the contrary. I used to take off before, spin my tires, then go to 8000 rpm, shift to second, squeal the tires, and on. NOW I don't spin or squeal when I take off, the car just goes. The best part is when I get to 8000 RPM, and shift to second. I feel a snap as the tires grip hard, get sat back in my seat, and the car just takes off. No spinning or squealing or nothing. Just raw acceleration.
I would have been nuts to go with 17's for my purposes. 16's look great on the car as it is, 17's would have been way too big.
I will post more pics this weekend. Friday I am doing a claybar / wax job. Then it's gonna look AWESOME.

really? have you seen this happen in person?
i'm always curious how e-racers come up with news that comps bend easier than any other forged rim...

Actually, funny you should say that, a kid here just bent two of his the other day. Regardless it was a pot hole, but it was small as hell and i would never think a pot hole that size would bend a rim like that.

I did not say that they DO bend or that I have personal experience with them bending. I said that I hope that they do not bend because they have a reputation for that. You can't refute that they have a reputation for bending. This is why I specifically said "...have a reputation for..."
And I sincerely hope that they do not bend, just as I sincerely hope that nobody's wheels bend because it is a bad situation for anyone to be in.
None of what I posted was false. The implications might be, but you decide what those implications are for yourself.
Don't call me an "e-racer."
