maybe it's just because I don't know any better, but that dyno is really hard to comprehend.

Those are some good looking gains. How much power did it really make though.

The dyno just shows the increase in power over the K20a3 right?
Whats the setup? K24/20a hybrid?

It was cool experiencing the "frankenstein" first hand at the expo! The bus is gonna be nuts when you get it all sorted out. I can't wait until you work the magic on my toda cams next month!

BTW- some stiff bushings wouldn't hurt, she was dancin' somethin' fierce braking hard into turn one!

yup, its like taking graph paper, drawing a few lines with arbitrary numbers on the sides and saying how much more power u made....

its not at all hard to comprehend when you understand what you are looking at. That is a function run on a Mustang Dyno. Imagine that you made a "baseline run" and the dyno will record this "chart" as zero on the x axis. Therfore, what you are seeing is only the gains relative to the "baseline run"...if there were losses, they would be shown as negative readings on the coordinate system...just like your geometry class. Hope that clears it up a bit.

so the stock ep3 si head with a stock k24 crv bottom end (pistons, rods, etc... untouched)??

those are good numbers. i wonder what a dc5-r head on a k24 block with high comp pistons would look like. woo...

No its a rsx-s head on a crv block.

Mike M: even though I don't have a K24 Frankenstein motor, I can probably give you a ride in mine
