Default (tech added) pics of the race car b4 completion 95% done

tom and ryan r goin to love this post. tom will prolly let it slide cause its a fellow EH (correct term)

about the only things i have left is rear lexan (if i can form it to fit well) my traction bars (might do a tech thing on those) finish securing the sideskirts, splash guards and buffing out the paint. still hasnt been washe either.

I'm sort of curious about what I seeing in your engine bay. What is the box shaped object with the red lid in the back, left side of your engine bay? Also, what is the red, cylindrical obeject just to the left of the radiator?

i wish i could say it was a tube chassis. some day it will happen.

headlights, who needs those. drove it on the street sat right past a cop, didnt give me a second look. still is tagged with new plates (1 2 NV) and insured.

every nut, bolt screw was turned by me. welding was done elsewhere and paint was done by a pro of course.

the box in the back is the 1 gallon fuel cell. the 2 cylinder lookin things to the left is a fuel filter and the one farther forward is the fuel pump.

God I love that bitch. I mean, I actually dig how you cut the front end and **** so that the one pice would snap right on.

Im sure that the one piece front end dropped the weight down, but Im still curious where the hell you cut ~380 LBS off that little thing!!

Let me know

Lovely car!!! I would love to have a street car like that for weekends!

Car is coming along very nicely. I am surprised you didn't get hastled by the police when you drove past them. Are you running a full exhaust or straight out of the header? Anyways, car looks good

the biggest gain was found in the doors in my opinion. yes the front end helped cause those upper and lower crossmember are pretty heavy. i cant really pinpoint where the weight went to. all i know is everything adds up. u have to remember, with only rear EBrake and rolling chassis the car weighed 980lbs. since then it has gained around 700lbs. so its hard to say where the original weight went to. plus its hard to know where the 700lbs came from. my best guess is it all adds up.

it isnt a C5 its a C1, JE 12.5:1 slugs, ITR head, JUN 3 head, DC JDM 4-1, VAFC and 2 3/4" exhaust.
