I have lots of pics of my black GSR with the FiberImages carbon fiber hood posted on my web site (link's at bottom). Here's another pic, that I don't have up on the site, yet, too.

 

i think its hard to see on black cars...almost hard to notice the c/b hood..IMO

 

that's what I like about it....doesn't really stand out too much.

I felt my first C/F hood the other day, and those things are paper light. I would totally get one for my car, but it's a silver teg, and I don't know it if would look too cool.

 

i have a silver teg also.and i'm getting a carbon fiber hood in the next few weeks ..i'll post a pic when i have it on.

does anyone know the quality and fit of the TC spoilers carbon fiber hoods??

 

while we're on the subject..

how would a CF hood reacts against heta ? I mean a black steel hood is a magnet to a texas heat, making the engine bay even hotter than they actually are, would a CF hood helps reducing the attratction to the heat ???

what about issues of warping, supposedly I am going FI, and of course the engine will produces more heat, how would a high Q's CF hood such as fiberimages, stands against the heat ? would it warp?
since now we're talking about the heat from within the engine itself...

From my prior experiences with various applications of CF hoods from FiberImages, I have not encountered a CF hood that became warped or damaged from extensive sunlight or excessive engine heat.
