I hate wrx's lauching on my ass. i Need advice. Have you ever used a Subframe brace for a civic.
people say that they work for anti wheel hop but is that just a gimmic. im not talking about the z10 radius arms, i'm referring to a 4 bolt brace that probably bolts to the sub frame and control arms.
thanks for the help
im trying to get my hatch to lauch better.

one of hte best braces you can get for the civic
stiffens the front end up alot.
it was more effective then a strut brace
if your running a header you might run into clearance issues

iv seen the brace your talking about on a hatch and the people that took a ride in the car and the owner said it felt alot better and no more wheel hop on launch.
let them keep launching and then laugh when they bust the tranny..like 1/2 the people I know from doing redline dumps in their WRX
you can't do nothing against a awd car versues a fwd. but then again it still depends on the driver though.

actually the azenis with its stiff sidewall is much more suited for autox or track applications. for drag and something that'd really help, he wants something with a softer sidewall.

wow, your the first to stick up for hondas in a honda thread. Everyone seems to think rather highly of wrx's. I think they are as shitty as the gimps that drive them.
You use drag radials on daily tires or just when you race?

If this is what you're talking about:

Then Yes, it works really well. Tried it on 2 DC's including a R, and the EG above.
Most 4-2-1 header should clear. The R had JDM 4-1 and needed to notch the bar
to clear, not sure on the DC JDM 4-1.
Noticable difference right off the drive way, even in the R!

That looks like it might work. I might have to try it.
if the jdm ITR necessitated the need to "notch" the bar, the other headers would only make this worse(hang even lower)- correct? I don't see a header in that pic.
it's not mostly driver. its power:weight ratios. dialed in suspension. the proper compound configuration.
i ran 10lbs of boost in my sloppy integra when a wrx took 10 car lengths on me.
