its a pretty baisic install, like 3 holes you have to drill, that is what mine were. just make sure that you dont mess it up and you're gunna have extra holes in your hood. sorry no pics though

Nice! Was just wondering how do the pins work? Can some stranger come over and pop your pins off or do they lock in somehow. I've seen the lock ones but I kinda don't like them, the sparco ones look tite though. My hood pops up on the driver side so I'm in the need of pins to make the hood sit flushed with the car.
Anymore pics people upclose, underneath,etc.. thanks in advance.

Thanks
Roy

well the locking hood pins which i highly DO NOT reccomend do (obviously) lock but are not safe in my opinion and are not manufacturered well. otherwise any old joe can walk up to your car and unlatch the pins. Im thinking maybe you don't have a stock latch on your hood and that's your concern... my advice if so. get one with a stock latch! i wish i had saved myself the time, money and trouble.

I do have a stock latch and it locks the left side perfect but hood pins are needed to make it flushed with the car. Take a look at the pic.

have u tried adjusting the little bump stop on the frame...its a little rubber looking thing u can screw up and down...if its your hood then i think either the hoods warped or the hood wasnt aligned properly...HTH!!!!!!!!

VIS grade A oem style hood with Sparco silver hoodpins.

Yeah those things suck! What a bitch to even align them so they lock somewhat safely.

the only problem withthat is that you might make an indention(sp) in the hood itself.. like i did. My hood was being a beeatch and popping up on one side so i got pins, and now its dented, and looks crappy..
