b20 turbo setups??? anyone??
i'm just tryin to see what people are running and what they produce......ie power and times......i have come to learn that the sleeves are really weak but they should run 8psi tuned on hondata for a while shouldn't they? This is just a stock b20 with a ls intake manifold.....running a custom drag turbo kit for a b16 it's a t3/t04e.......

Boost goes positive at 3500 or so.... the thing is a torque moster, spools very fast.. like driving a V8!

i had a stock block ls that was balanced and had a str block guard i used to shift like daily at 9500 rpm, so i know that the ls's and b20's will rev no matter what, i do know however that the b20's have weak sleeves......i just wanna know what some people are running with straight b20 turbo's..........all i want is a burst motor, i'm sure that the ls and b20 would explode in a road racing condition but when draggin them or daily driving they will work fine

I was runnning b20b block b16 head, motor all stock, 6.5 psi on rehard kit greddy exhaust needed tuning very badly, but made 226/200 give or take a few on torque. but the car ran. Never took it 1/4 but it ran 8.9 in 1/8 on a 100 degree day in texas. Car held up fine for 6 months but ended up blowing, but it was non boost related. Oh i was also had that same size turbo and ill spooled up very quickly! hope this helps
was that on slicks??? or was that on streets.........also you mentioned it needed tuning........what ecu were you running?? or what exactly needed tuning?? my b20 will be on hondata.........and 860 rc's......so it should run that if not better, i'm actually hoping it will run low 12's......on slicks

That was in denton 16 nitto 555r's, stock weight, i was running a 95 gsr ecu(skunk 2 harness) well i had an inline pump and a intank pump 310 cc injectors, vafc, high fuel pressure until i finally traded my intank pump for a stock one then fuel pressure went down(it was crazy at idle like 70 psi) then i needed to tune the air fuel. I never got around to it so i just richenedup the vafc to stay on the safeside. I loved that setup more displacement, spooled the turbo alot quicker. So most races I jumped out on most people, tires also helped though.

did you ever race that setup and what did it run??? sounds like a good setup though........i wanna do a built b20/vtec but i want to get it sleeved so right now it's gonna just be bone stock, until i get my del sol shortblock done then i'm gonna run on that for a bit, then just swap my head onto the 2l when i get it done

thats a nice setup.......only thing is that theres a bunch of peeps with turbo b20vtec.........i want just the setup on a stock b20 no vtec, eventually i wanna get the motor sleeved and put a vtec head on it, but i'm gonna finish my project b16 before that happens, i only bought the b20 becuase the price was right and i needed something to drive my car on.......but eventually it will become fully built b20 vtec, but for this season i'm just gonna run the stock b20z
