sticker removal....
Best time to remove stickers is in the summer... Or you can use a heat gun to warm up the adhesive (stickers come off easier when heated). Peel them off with your fingernails then use either gas or goo gone. ( I use gas then immediately wash with soap and wax afterwards.)
I just removed some sitckers form my bike yesterday. I used a heat gun to peel them off, and 3M adhesive remover to get any leftover adhesive. It takes a little time but it worked like a charm!

HAHAHA, you want to see sticker removal, look at my last bike. It was a FZR 600. It had PURPLE rims, the pink decal on the tank, the big pink and purple decals on the side.. I pulled ALLLLL the stickers off and polished it up, underneath was a nice dark dark metalic blue that looked BEAUTIFUL.. Here is the finished product.. The only thing i painted was the silver strip on the gas tank and the rims.. Everyting else is still stock..

Nice pics. Looks like you're missing your sidemarker.
Anyhow, just use goo gone. You can also heat up your stickers if you want. But like the other post says, the tank would have to be repainted. There's clear coat over that sticker.
I miss my R6.
