neo1z can hit 200wHP with some Pistons, Hondata, JDM 4-1 Header with a 2.5" inch cat.

200wHP is within his grasp!!!

I need a damn ECU!

F*#@ pistons. I'll hit 200whp w/ just a FPR, 310cc injectors, and some play on the cam settings. Well, maybe.

I think his Kenji P28 ECU saved me a lot of tuning trouble that I had with mine, not to mention never having dyno tuned before in my life.

I tuned my car first and was nervous so I really wasn't thinking straight. It really shows in the numbers. I really started figuring things out on Robbie's car tho.

EDIT: Just for comparison, another ITR with JUN III cams and 12.8 CR dyno'd 190whp.

i'm really impressed, especially with neo1z's #'s....

a friend with the same setup but with these different mods:
-obd2
-jdm itr 4-1 header
-mugen TL

only hit a max of 180whp. it seems to me like the obd2-obd1 conversion is what really opened it up... and that makes sense because dyno plots of stock GSRs from obd1 to obd2 shows a 5-10whp loss. obd2

do you guys think that the obd1 ecu is what made some serious power? what program is being run from kenji? and why would you run a programmed p28 and then use the vafc to reprogram it - to fine tune a/f?

Kenji's P28 program already runs really rich. Just look at the blue AFR line.

Yea guys --- It was an awesome weekend. Ben and I really think we can get my ride up to 200 whp after we put on my B&M FPR, and do some cam gear tuning. Ill probably get some RC 310cc injectors -- then, according to my tuning god Ben, I'll be guranteed 200's
Im pumped.

I barely had that manifold working when I drove up early saturday morning. I had a fuel leak the whole dyno day --- and was running on old, ugly oil. (Ben can attest to that, we changed it this morning before I came back to Columbus).

But it all ended up working -- made some IU friends, and got some good tuning in. I am going back as soon as humanly possible to see if I cant break 200 PRE-PISTONS!!!!

Wanna give a shout out to Ben -- thanks for your help man -- and the tuning education

Glad j00 got back to home ok.

Time to unload that 50 pack of mountain dew and go rip on your car for a little while.

And, you should probably take a last look for fuel leaks. Hopefully it didn't stick up your trip home.

Did you ever find out where the leak was coming from??

Also, are those numbers SAE corrected? And what kind of dyno were you guys using?

Hey Scott --- the leak was coming from the hose that connected to the regulator -- we put a new clamp on it today and it worked like a charm

Yes they are indeed SAE corrected -- the uncorrected numbers got up to 193 whp (due to the cold weather) -- it was a big teaser

Thanks so much for your help btw on friday
