i prefer alpine or dei. dont forget that you can have the "best" alarm, but a bad install can ruin the alarm's performance.

btw, is there a way to modify an existing anti-theft system to make it more like a commercial alarm system? (did I ask that right?) Im getting a complete security system for my '94 Accord LX, which did not come with anti-theft or anything, but my 02 Accord SE came with anti-theft, is there a way to modify the existing system? I dont want to buy a another security system for the 02 Accord and just leave the anti-theft system on the garage floor being useless.

thats about what will end up happening, except it will be sitting in your car instead of on the garage floor.

the rattle is DEI "entry level" system....is geared most toward do it yourself types
who are mechanically inclined....Heres the real story: Its just like there regular line
up...basic viper300s units geared to give them better market share...thats all.
What you have is the same quality, albeit not the *major* tech advances as the front line pieces...but good stuff all round. Think of it as Cristal tastes on a St Ides
budget.
