Default Please recommend books on driving techniques

I was looking for a good book that explains driving techniques and possibly a book that talks about 'how to' setup your suspension. Or anything along these lines.

Thanks.

Bob Bondurant on High Performance Driving is a good first read on driving technique. Car setup, there's myriad books. Many like the Carroll smith books.

avalible here:http://www.soloracer.com/accessories.html

I found "Secrets of Solo Racing" to be really helpful. I have yet to sit down and read the other two cover to cover (I have skimmed them, and they looked helpful).

My two favorites for driving techniques:

"Professional Race Driving Techniques" provided me with the most information I needed. Both are available at Amazon.com.

I need to find my copy, thanks for reminding me. It's MIA since the move.

MM is trying to put together a library of books. If anyone is trying to sell/donate their used books we'd be VERY interested!

"Secrets of Solo Racing" is my current reading material. As for suspension setups, I haven't looked through it yet, but I just got "How to Make Your Car Handle" by Fred Puhn. Looks good, lots of theory if you're interested in that, was only like $10 or $15. I'm just getting into the whole autox/road race thing, so don't take my word as gospel or anything though.

Thanks for all the replies. Excellent link .RJ
I am trying to get started in auto cross. Wanted to read some technical stuff first.

I ordered "Going Faster! ..."

Anymore ideas for books with information of suspension setups?
I'll have to check out "How to make your car handle" by Fred Puhn

There is an out of print book called "The Front Wheel Drive Advanatage" by Jack Doo and it has one of the red 1st gen Integras driven by Parker Johnstone on it. It is a fabulous book and really showed what FWD drivers should know about technique. I learned a lot and it reinforced otehr things I had suspected or learned elsewhere.

I loaned my copy to a student/friend who lost it when he moved, I could have killed him. I found one on-line used book store who wanted about $90 for it used a few years ago and I wasn't going to be a party to that kind of robbery.

Keep an eye out for tthis book, it is the best I have seen. If you find two copies, get one for me.
