So i get the kit and first thing i notice is that the Wilwood calipers are covered up with what IMO is the worst looking logo to ever be produced. Brian, if you are reading this...your kits rock, but man - lose the logo!!
So after removing them, this is what i have

Yeah there are 2 little silver holes where the logo plates were riveted on, not a huge deal but seriously, the logo plates were really ugly!! (they are already in the trash can)
The rotors appear to be Corrado G60 11" rotors. I do not think they differ from stock VW replacement rotors because the kit includes a hubcentric ring which makes sense because the vw has a larger hub than Hondas do. Also, it helps that the part # for the rotor is on the side of the box
(thank goodness for Google searches, you can almost find anything!)
These replacement rotors are a little more pricey than brembo blanks, mostly because of the size, but you can find them for relatively good prices such as these ATE atom disks from pottermans (www.parts4vws.com) - they go for $65 each.

Can anyone else with the kit confirm the Corrado rotor theory?
Cant wait to get the kit installed, just waiting for some wheel spacers to get here.

You guys think that rotor will work with a ITR size caliper? ITR is around 11" too right?

Just ordered my kit this week. Put up a post of the installation, if possible, and any snags that you come into. I know that someone who did a writeup mentioned the hubcentric rings having a tendency to not want to stay put.

Hey man - I noticed that in your other link you are using the Rota RNR copies...do those fit w/o spacers or did you have to use some? I would really like to find some 15s that I do not have to add spacers to. Right now my slipstreams will need about 9mm of spacing.

pretty sure he runs slipstreams also, quote from teh webpage
hrm.
having to run 15" wheels w/ spacers. I would much rather run 13x8 wheels rather than the 15x6.5 wheels.

Does this setup end up weighing as much as a stock set up because the caliper is lighter?
I would think the corrado rotor must weigh a bit more the stock rotor so I guess the caliper evens things out?

The ROTA copies doesnt fit on that brake kit, I had to use a 5mm spacer to make it "barely" fit.
And to answer the other guys question as to the weight, it actually "feels" lighter than stock...

you might.
the funny thing is the calipers fit behind the GSRs that i had, which is 15" in size also. i think it all depends on how the spokes are designed.

I noticed that when installing the Corrado rotors, you do not use the screws to hold the rotor to the hub. Is this ok?
I have about 15mm worth of spacers for handling reasons. I believe you have to use 10mm for the slips to work.
Also, about weight... I believe the entire setup is closer to the same weight as the stock setup. However, there's more rotational mass with the fastbrakes due to the larger rotor.
If you're buy these brakes to reduce weight, you're thinking the wrong way. These brakes are good for track ******... otherwise, they are worthless on a street car that'll never see a track. However, some "stunnas" might want to brag that they have wilwoods.
All in all, the kit is just another part of the car that you have to pay extra attention to. when you change your oil/after a track event, you do a brake job (clean the calipers, bleed the brakes, inspect everything).
Key:
Track - road course, not drag strip.

Cool...i was thinking 10mm of spacing will do it. Question - Should i also space out the rear tires to match the spacing of the front? Does it affect handling to have the fronts 10mm out and the backs 10mm less?
BTW I found spacers from Motorsport Techniques in Hayward, CA - they want $10 for 2 5mm spacers. I will pick up some tonight and see how they work out. Ill post pics and a phone number if anyone is interested in getting some.

No problems with drastic rubbing yet...yes, it rubs on hard left turns, but it's due to soft springs.
Like another poster mentioned, wider front "contact patch" vs the rears reduces understeer.

Well...its 2:15 am, im in my garage sitting here looking at the final product. Took me over 5 hours to install the kit because the instructions were 100% wrong. Either I got the wrong instructions or I got the wrong installation kit. Kam, i did not get the same hardware as you, I think the bracket might have even been changed since you got your kit. I had to take the caliper apart to install the kit. Basically this is the order I installed everything-
Fastbrakes bracket
Back half of caliper
rotor
Front half of caliper
Brake line
I had to split the caliper in half because you have to use the bolts from the outside of the hub screwing in towards the engine. Screwey.
Any input?

Well the kit is on and working....i now possess the braking power of God
Impressed with the kit, instructions were TERRIBLE IMO. Brian really needs to hire a technical writer to write up proper instructions. Kams instructions were alot better, the pics helped alot, however our mounting hardware differed. I think Kam got an earlier kit as I was missing alot of the stuff that he has listed.
Some pics:

Talk about barely clearing the caliper:

6mm of spacers (2 3mm spacers). Available from Motorsport Techniques in Hayward, CA.

Back from the dead..
Received some emails from Brian at Fastbrakes regarding my install woes. He is revising the instruction manuals, and will look at the potential installation problems that I encountered during my install.
On a side note, the kit has been working great, took my wheels to check up on everything today and there is no abnormal wear on anything and the pads seem to be in good shape after about 3k miles of stop and go commuting.
