Default Finally! Got to dyno my built b18b

Well it has been a little over a year since I had my engine built, and one car later, that I finally had the time to get the motor dynoed
Below are both the before and after dynos

Before: b18b w/ i/h/e
After: 11.3:1CR, crower 403s, p&p head, skunk2 im, 64mm tb, UR crank pully, pyr chipped ecu (for now )

For right now this setup is untuned with cams set straight up. Hopefully within the next few months i will have the money for a hondata and be able to do some extensive tuning

edit: stupid homestead bandwidth

Good work... 129.2 WHP is equal to 146 CHP (assuming 13% Honda manual drivetrain loss)...

So, your car is making 165.8 WHP, or 187 CHP, an increase of about 40 HP... nice job!

Your torque curve needs some help... I'm sure cam tuning and a Hondata will help that

The dyno is at the wheels...it's probably more like 195 hp at the crank (the numbers you are referring to)

what header exhaust comboare you using?

your tq really falls off after 6k

either your head is not flowing much air, or you have a weak sauce header/exhaust

get a hondata or v-afc to get the sucka tuned!

otherwise good number for non-vtec

You can use a VAFC on a non-VTEC motor; don't connect the solenoid wire.

thanks guys

i've spent about 5k on the motor

the head was ported and polished but very lightly along with a 3 angle valve job

im using a jdm type r header/carsound cat/Thermal R&D exaust/DC sports short ram intake

as soon as i can scrounge up some money for the hondata (or just put it on the credit card) it will get tuned

Can someone explain something to me? Why don't the HP and Tq lines cross at 5252 rpm like most dyno plots?
