ok here's the story. i did my 98+ conversion on thursday, and when doing so, removed the fender lining from underneth the fenders. knowing i was going to swap out the fenders the next day (which didn't happen), i left the fender lining out. i took out the car the next day to run some errans. it was warm, and the snow was alreadymelting, so i rolled down my windows.

i came home only to relize my power windows, wipers, and wiper fluid squirters [?] have stopped working. i replaced the fuses that tie up with my power windows/fuses, and my power windows/wipers still don't work. i'm assuming some water got in through the doors and touched some of the wires while i drove. what do i do?

edit: btw, BOTH doors are not working.

Hey , I was having about the same problem, my fender walls weren't installed, and rocks and debris would hit the wiring harness to my windows and it would make it unclip from the other clip.So all I did was push teh clip back into its original place and voila it worked agian. When you're opening your doors there is a ruber piece that goes from the door into your consol from the side, where the door hinjes are at. make sure that the clip going into the door is secured down.
Let me know if that was the problem

 

i tried that today at work.. pulled off the doors, and reconnected the harnesses -- but still nothing. any other ideas? maybe a short circut somewhere?
