Default To those w/Mugen Twin loop catback

I was told that the resonator hangs VERY low on this system, is this true? How low is it exactly? Do you guys scrape it up even on stock height? What about those that have dropped ur car an inch or two? Any info appreciated. Thx.

It's not that the resonator hangs low, it's that it is quite a bit bigger than the stock b-pipe resonator. I have stock suspension and I've only barely scraped it once (while trying to 3 point turn on some uneven, unpaved, gravel road on a hill ). I've never had any problems on the street with it.

I have a good sized dent in my resonator that was a result of carrying too much speed over a speed bump. From looking at it, it doesnt effect the performance (its not THAT big) however it sucks to see such a beautiful piece you shelled out big bucks for damaged like that. This was at stock height as well.

Just be careful with the speedbumps, and you should be fine.

I had never scraped it with 3/4" drop. If I didn't scrape it then, you shouldn't have any problems in stock height. Just be cautious when going over big bumps.

when i was dropped I'd scrape all the time, but i am now up to stock height and no problems at all... big resonator.

BTW OT: is it me or is my mugen exhaust getting louder and louder... it sounded like stock the first couple of weeks, but now after ~5 months it's pritty damn loud... :shrugs:

Could be the resonator material breaking loose.

There should be no warranty considering it is a race part.

Have you ever sprayed water in there? That definately ruins it.

Who cares if the resonator scrapes? Flatten that shiot with a hammer and yer good to go. I grind mine every day.

I scape it from time to time... But it doesn't have any dents in it.

This should give you some perspective (~1 inch drop) Notice that the Spoon header has simular ground clearance.
