chill out people, this is after 3days of work. yes, this is MAJOR rust repair. i wish i had more close up pics of the before rust, but you'll have to take my word for it. the chassis has over 220k miles on it.

as for antenna shaving... judge it when it's done

i'm not even going to comment on this. you have no idea what you're talking about. i'll let you judge the "spray paint" job when it's done.

 

How do you repair rust? I've got the typical love rust spots on the rear quarter panel right above the wheel well.

 

It looks like your quarters were pretty bad. Did you cut them out and weld in new metal or do something else? The repair looks fabulous. I just would like to know what your technique was.

 

i'm not doing the work, a buddy of mine is

he cut out the rust and welded in new metal

 

here's a better pic of the rust. driver side was much worse.

 

My rust owns yours lol. I had alot more. I cut out the rust, and welded in some new metal. It's holding like a champ.
