There was a small dyno day at RacePrep Engineering here in Chico yesterday...small turn out since the weather has been very $hietty lately....but it was fun and i got to meet some cool peoples
MY POS on the dyno...
DYNO CHART IS FINALLY UP!
Blue line is w/ a chipped p28 w/ my custom All Motor program chip!
Red line is the stock ecu
1st Dyno Run w/ my Custom n/a Chipped p28: 167 whp
2nd Dyno Run w/ the stock ECU: 160 whp
My Car: 1994 Integra GSR 155,xxx original miles
Mods: AEM short ram (has been raining so cai was stored away), Skunk2 IM, CTR Intake cam, Skunk2 cam gears, DC 4-2-1 ss header, Greddy SP cat back, Chipped p28 with my Custom N/A program chip!
I will try to get the dyno sheet scanned so i can show you guys. Ending note, car was pinging in the higher rpm's, and i didnt have a VAFC so no propper tuning to fix the problem could be done. Cam gear settings were set at +2 Intake and -2 Exhaust.......I know the numbers arent too impressive, but let me know what you guys think

You need a Fuel Tuning system (VAFC or Hondata), and switch the Short Ram to a Cold Air Intake. Also, get a free flowin' Cat.
You should see bigger gains after doin that. But the numbers aren't too shabby. 160wHP is around the Type-R power range.

only took one pic of my car on the dyno..........sorry
as for going w/ hondata....that would be nice...but truthfully.....i dont plan on doing anything else to my car. TOO many ricerz and haters in this scene, so i just want my car to be reliable and decent looking. I want to start saving for something else that i dont have to worry about! i'm tired of thieves, bumpy *** roads, puddles that i cant drive my car through, speed bumps, everything! Its fun tho

they school "junk2 stage 1" if they are poorly tuned. skunk2 stage 1's with bolt ons and tuning make 175whp+ on b18c1's. thats what i am aiming for in a few weeks.
awesome numbers!
oem cams schooling junk2 stage1 !

pls post ur dyno plot. those are excellent #'s for just those little mods.
i would like to see the area under the curve.
what was your torque at? fuel pressure? do u have afj FPR? timing?
u should go back and dyno w/ the CAI. also a better flowing header and cat will yield more HP (of course) also taking off ur power steering belt too.

max torque w/ stock ecu: 119
No fpr, i wanted to throw on the cai but its been raining hard the past few days, I got a test pipe, and dc 4-2-1 header is fine (i'm not always driving in the high rpm's all the time anymore), and i will try to find some one w. a scanner so i can post up the dyno plot

Side skirts are OEM body kit side skirts
thanks for the comments
Those sound like good numbers to me. I have got close to the same mods except factory cat, no ecu tuning and I put down 165whp and 126ft/lbs on my 99 GSR. So it sounds really good with such little mods and sooooo many miles.
pretty good numbers. i have almost the same mods as you, but i got ITR cams and a VAFC. i was able to put down like 173WHP with a short ram AEM.
you guys think i could make 180 if i put a Type R CAI, highflow cat, and bigger throttle body.

i think if the shop was warm on top of your motor being warm, then the cai would make about 2whp or more on the dyno..thats what i'm guessing.
From what i can see in the picture, you've got a very well maintained '94 gsr. Doesn't look like a '94 at all from the pic. Sweet ride and nice numbers. 7 whp from just a chip and no tuning? Thats awesome!
OT, but where can you get ukdm taillights?

yup..i gained 7whp w/ my chipped p28 custom n/a chip
They tried tuning my cam gears, didnt make a difference in peak hp, but just made it a little more smoother in the power band.
Your one of the first to notice the UKDM ITR tail lights...... Lucky for me, i found em here on h-t. from Austrian Type R i think thats his sn...

I love the UKDM lights. What rims are those? I kinda like them. They look like the rims on the Tuscan Speed 6.
