i can vouch for the wheels and the seller. i mounted the tires myself, so i know there are no scratches. these wheels are beautiful. they were custom ordered and painted by VOLK , took 5 months for them to arrive. they are black, but in certain light they have a very dark bronze tone to them. here are some pics taken before the tires were mounted...

hmm you said "they were custom ordered and painted by VOLK" is that why they have a glossy finish instead of having a anodized black rough finish ? what color were they sprayed ?

 

how much do they weigh? bump for some sick wheels

 

when they were ordered, we requested volk black thinking it would come in the normal flat black you see on most volk wheels. needless to say when these came in we we're a little surprised, but i think they look better and it makes them even more rare than other black SE37Ks (which are very rare to begin with).

 

somewhere between 10.8 + 11 lbs.

i dont mean to sound rude or anything.. but ive checked a bunch of sites.. and i dont know where u see that they were 500 a piece for those rims in 16".... on all the sites ive checked they are $370 a rim...multiply that by 4.. and tires are in the package... i know u got them painted and everything, but for rims that are like 1300 with tires.. and if u say they are 500 each.. that would make them like 2000 rims...or more..

the wheels you saw we're probably either silver or bronze. they don't sell black SE37Ks in the U.S. the only way you can get them new is to order through someone in japan or order directly from VOLK, which is how these were ordered. so VOLK treated them as a custom order, that's why they were more expensive.
