$1000 to spend on a D16A6 build up – need advice
I have around $1000 give or take to spend on building a D16A6. I would like to know what my best options are. I have searched and found some information but not a lot. If anyone has any suggestion or links to sites with info it will really help me a lot.

Nothing yet but if building a D16A6 is my best option I will pick one up and start working on it. I might also get a civic or crx with one in it all ready.

well in this scene, the first few hundred $$ usually gets you your basic parts that you need. Basic, meaning, intake and exhaust. after that is when you consider more performance parts for your engine. so get the intake and a good quality flowing exhaust piping.
Lots of people make a mistake in not paying attention to proper exhaust piping. they buy the muffler and assume its already flowing good. get a 2.25" piping to start with. and basic performance muffler. adter this is when you need more $$. to do major stuff like headwork and cam.
