Default Dohc Zc swap!!! pics inside too!

Yesterday Sleeper[xsi], krzyangel710, GirlyGs-R and i went to Ayanami's house to do my dohc zc swap. when we got there we thought it was going to be an easy swap, and should be done within the day. WE WERE WRONG . taking the hyrdolocked Si motor was not that hard and took about an hour (with a couple smoke breaks and lunch). then we started prepping the dohc zc motor. took my old engine harness, dist., TB (b/c the tps sensor on the dohc zc was broken) and other misc parts ready for the swap.we bolted the exedy clutch to my stock Si flywheel and attached it to the tranny.
Getting the motor in without a cherrypicker was a lil tough but not that bad. we just slide the motor in from under and jacked it up from there. the most difficult part of the swap was getting the tranny bolted up to the motor. we tried for almost two hours trying to figure out what the deal was. first, we thought the clutch i bought was the wrong one. that wasnt the problem. then we pulled the tranny and noticed the dowel pins were all bent??WTF!!! the dowel pins on the motor and tranny were on and that why they wouldn't bolt up. then we tried again. Still it would go in!!!! were were about to call it a nite. we all went to take a brake so i kicked the jack where the tranny was resting and wham! the tranny just locked into place. after that everything went by so fast. within in hour my car was put back together and i had a new motor.

hydrolocked sohc zc

whats all that white stuff in the TB???

my new motor

the sohc zc out of my engine bay

another pic of the dropped sohc zc

GirlyGs-R and krzyangel710 got bored and took a nature hike

bye-bye sohc zc

ready for the dohc zc

Me(left) and sleeper[xsi] sliding the Dohc zc in

heres me getting ready to jack the motor up

bolting the drivers side mount was a bitch

Ayanami and me watching Sleeper[xsi] jump on the intake mani to bolt the rear mount

just gotta tweak out some bugs and its ready to terrorize the streets of Phoenix again!

going from the bottom sucks ***, was a bitch when we did it. would have been a lot easier if we took the front crossmember out/off, no one has mentioned that
