h22 hatch alxes?
is anyone using any aftermaket alxes for there swap instead of the accord integra combo? is so what brand and how is it working out? i'm planning on making this a total drag car and looking for something stronger?
That setup is beyond turd(90-93 accord inter shaft and 90-93 integra axles).
pop 3rd hard on the highway and call a towtruck. The passanger side (trans side) axle loves to either destroy itself from poping at the inner joint, or pop out and pencil sharpener the differential. Id beyond highly reccomend just keeping the h series intermediate shaft on there, and saving the time hunting for the accord intermediate shaft and old 10 year old axles and getting some beefier ones off the start from raxles or placeracing or some of those companies.

So has dss worked out their problems with their h22 in a civic axles? I remember reading about jason kidds vibration problems with their axles.
Do they have axles per h22 mount kits? Or are they all the same for an h22 civic? What stage would you guys recommend? Once my custom axles brake I am seriously leaning toward getting a set of DSS axles. I want some piece of mind, plus I want to be able to launch the crap out of my car. HAHA.

Welp, the vibration problems wasn't with the axles themselves. I haven't had any vibration problems with their axles.
DSS axles are awesome. I have a very minor leak on the passenger side axle due to the axle being about 1 to 2 mm short, but it's not a big deal.
And yep, they have h22 civic kits. They prefer HASport due to the angle.
I am running Stage 1 now, (or Level 1), but I would get the max you can afford. The higher the level the more WHP it'll handle
But with my level 1's, I pretty much beat the hell out of them with no issues. My car is slammed as well, and still no issues

I am running a Prodrive setup. I absolutely love it and have had zero problems. I have had my car at different heights and still no problems. I also heard DSS stage 3's are bad ***.
Well I have the stage III's and yes they are badass. My issue with Frank at DSS is that I dont think they really payed attention to the rod lengths of the axles. For example when I first put them in I noticed that the passenger side was way long and the driver's side seemed to be too short. So I put them on anyway figuring these guys got all their measurements right and know what they are doing. Well the passenger side was binding on itself extremely at any speed. Apaarently I was right and the rod was about 3/4 and inch too long. Now DSS did replace it and now that problem is solved, there is still an issue of the driver's side. I think that its a little too short and I dont even have the measurements handy to compare.
Too make a short story longer, what I have to do now is wait for it to warm up a little over here and then do endplay measurements on the axles again.. The only reason why I am upset is because this should have been a simple thing and now they have ME measuring the damn things to give them the right spec.. So until I get a chance to do the measurements and until I cease to have issues with the rod lengths on the axles then DSS gets a 77 from me. Just above failing.
And poison I would call Frank @ DSS and tell him your issue. It doesnt make sense you paid good money for an axle for them to mess up on the rod length. That is the only reason why you are leaking fluid, which you shouldnt be..

This has been quite some time since ive had this car, at least a year and a half. sorry i didnt know about the raxles. I got fed up with the stuff i had and junked the whole thing, parted it out.
I guess follow these guys lead, i have no idea the current axle choices. Back when i had it, it was a bit difficult to find what i needed.

i went in and asked em for axels and they were like "oh ya we have a lifetime gaurentee on these also" i was amazed, i asked em the stipulations and they had none...just lifetime! i laughed my way out the store!

tehy can answer your question's.
For the record, MY axles are not the case of my vibration. it IS THE MOTOR MOUNTS from place racing. how do i know you ask. all 3 are shot as of right now. i can move my motor around about 1/2 inch in any direction.
place racing anything
now i have to save up and get a set of Hasport mounts. good mounts just didn't want to spend the money on new mounts. mmmmm

So not even DSS uses a good rod length for the h22 setup?
I don't want binding or leaking.
Can it really be that hard to make the proper length for each mount kit? Hasport, HCP etc.
Axle leaks are a no-no by my standards....

They are lifetime warranty but they start gettin suspicious after you exchange axles after 3 times or so, especially with broken splines.
And if it's LIFETIME, then they can't refuse! LOL!
