Default Race car Prep Pics

Well I found a car to replace my old car. I was looking for an Integra but I couldn’t find a decent theft recovery shell that matched what I was looking for so I decided on a 92-95 hatchback.

Stock

Benen Tow Hooks

I stripped the interior because the car is going to be a track *****/race car with a cage.

Look what I found when I finished pulling panels.

Mounted my Pro 2000 seat.

Im waiting for some misc parts to come in before I can install the brakes, Jics, and the motor. The car will not be really finished till the end of the summer when I can afford to put in a cage but I should have everything but that done by the end of this month.

How long does it take to strip the interior and how long does it take to put it all back in? Just wondering.

Looks like a raver had your car. Just the first thing that came to mind.
But looks like a fun project. I wish I could do that.

Ok wise guy let me educate you on why the car has tow hooks. In a road race or even a HPDE event if a car dies or gets in a wreck you want to get the car out of the way as soon as possible. The Tow hooks are there to help the course workers get the car hooked up as soon as possible with little or no fuss. Also race tracks don’t have flatbeds so they are also there to limit damage to the car. So ends the lesson.
