You shoulda sanded/primered the chrome dude.

Chrome doesn't like to be painted over without being sanded.

Hope it doesn't flake off on you

Looks nice though

Looks nice, but wait till I post mine Flat black everything, good thing my stock foglights are really strong!!!

For anyone else, make sure you don't paint the reflector, because you won't see **** if you do, trust me, trial and error!!!

Jonathan

P.S. I'll have pictures soon.

Hey man, not bad at all. I like that look because of the resemblence to the CTR headlights.

I did the same thing to my projectors, but since the surround is a seperate piece, I just sprayed it with primer black and threw it back together.

Hella 500 driving lights (don't get the fog version) available for $75 at any Advanced Autoparts/ Pep Boys. They're too bright to leave on with the low beams, but they come with a wiring harness that will allow you to wire them into your high beam circuit so they come on with the high beams. They're so bright that I can see into cars coming at me with 'em on. Yes, really.

and how strong is that front bumper with the grille removed?
The plastic bumber cover isn't a structural device, and cutting the grille out doesn't weaken it. Those lights are mounted to the bumper frame.
