Not another 2.5-3" downpipe pic
I finished up my downpipe and added the wastegate return tube, it flares to 3" where the downpipe and wastegate return pipe meet.

did you use two 1.5" U bends for the dump tube? what radius? wondering if I should incorporate flanges then use bolts to fasten them so I can detach/attach it...get the picture.....uhr....flange at the top where it attaches to the wastegates >> flange 3/4 way down >> and a flange to the attached 1/5" pipe that enters the downpipe and just use some lock washers and bolts to fasten these two pieces together......hmmm just an idea...what do you fellas think?

A 180 at the top, then a 45, then a 90, the another 45 where it enters the downpipe. I started out with two 180s and a 45.

The original 2.5" downpipe is from revhard ($130), the 2.5 --> 3" reducer is from flowmaster ($12), the 3" flange from summit for ($3). All the 1.5" bends were from jcwhitney and ran less that $20.
I did all the measuring, cutting and painting and a buddy of mine did the welding (randy@hughlett.net), he's a great import builder so give him a call if you want some help with your project.

A bunch of people have IMd about making one of these for them but unfortunately i cant, this is just a hobby and I really dont have the time.
But the guy who did the welding does this for a living and might be willing to make a few of these. His username is "mochanic" hit him up on the IM and see what he says.

now bolt it all together and show them what the entire set up looks like all the way back past the cat.
I still think we should have gone all either black or grey, it looks kinda weird with two different colors. Alex's is the same way, and last night we decided to blast off the black and go all silver/aluminum... much better!
Oh come on Phillip, it was so much fun, we should do one for everybody on the board!

I didnt like the mani or the turbine housing in grey but black radiates too much heat to do the whole thing black. I like this combo of colors.

Have you seen the new aluminum color that we did Alex's tubine housing in yet?
It almost looks like it was HPC coated!
I think you would really like it... and it reflects heat too. When you get over your smart teeth removal come check it out, and we can weld that band clamp stuff you finally got.
