FS: Skunk2 Stage 1 Cams!!!!
I'm selling my Skunk2 Stage 1 cams!! They're gonna come out of my car and to you if you buy it. I had them in my car for 3000 miles only!!! AWESOME cams. One of the best street legal cams out there period. My car ran like a champ.
$500 or best offer.
Why am I selling it? Because I am going to upgrade to Skunk2 Stage 2 cams. I don't drive my GS-R that much, so Stage 2 won't be too bad. I was gonna go Supercharger, but decided to stay NA and do the Skunk2 game.

Baseline run at 163wHP with STOCK intake manifold, STOCK ecu, STOCK valvetrain, STOCK exhaust, and STOCK Cat. Converter with Fan broken on a 98 degree day.

you baselined your car when it was bone stock?you never mentioned that in your whole dyno thread before. and im pretty sure you said you had your EXHAUST, aem cai, and header when you dyno'd?

How are these cams specs compared to CTR cams? Do you need an upgraded valvetrain? Thanks..
CTR Cams are more agressive than ITR cams. Skunk2 Stage 1 cams are more agrssive than CTR cams, so the Skunk2 Stage 1's will yield more Power.

Wow, you dyno'd 19whp more with the stage 1s over stock? makes me curious about what i'm making then.. my car didn't feel THAT much stronger when they were put in.. in fact, when vtec hits, the car just gets LOUD, but there's no real 'surge' in power.. were yours like that too?

My car had some good Top end power for sure. It would just pull and pull till redline.
I know I could've made alot more Power after I get my parts installed soon.
But damn... i sold my cams, and I'm ready to go Stage 2's, but my pops is really **** about it. He said if I don't pass smog or something goes wrong with the car, he's gonna sell it, no questions asked!! He says to either get smaller cams or stick with Stage 1's...
Now I'm debating whether to stay with Stage 1's or go on....
Since the cams were bought, I can't back out... so I'll have to buy another one at a much higher price.
