1989 Chevy Caprice 9C1 (Police Cruiser - big engine, big brakes, beefy drivetrain)
350ci smallblock, 700R4 trans
140,000 miles
runs well,
New/reman parts (within last 20k miles):
radiator
front brakes (pads, rotors, bearings, calipers, lines)
rear bakes (shoes only, I have drums, cylinders, springs not installed)
water pump, thermostat
PS pump
alternator
polyurethane bushings, new ball joints, tie rods
BFGoodrich Eager 225-60-15
American Racing AR767 15x8"
Hotchkiss Performance Impala SS springs (1.75" drop)
Raven muffler (flowmaster knockoff)
Asking $1000
Also available at extra cost:
Hidden Hitch (Class III/IV)
Tekonsha electric brake controller
Alpine CD receiver and 6-disc changer
Exterior is a cheap white respray. Typical dings for a car this age. Passenger side door lock is broken (some a$$hole tried to steal my stereo) - door works, just can't be unlocked with key.
Interior is ok - headliner sags, dash top is cracked, carpet has some stains. Bucket front seats, bench rear.
Car starts and idles fine. Pulls well. Brakes are great for a car this size.
Reason for sale: need a newer tow vehicle for longer distance trips, no room for 4 cars.
