85 corolla gts (AE86)
I am reluctantly selling my 1985 corolla. problem free, runs and drive's great and is a great autocrosser/road course racer/drifting vehicle. It has 107,000 miles on it. factory paint in great condition. no oil or anti-freeze leaks. im not sure what i should even be asking for this, so $4500 or make an offer

40mm cut front strut casing with trd 20mm strut spacer.
ground control front coil-over setup at 6.3kg/mm spring rate
JIC magic pillow ball mounts
TRD japan 5.1kg/mm rear springs
TRD japan 8 way adjustable shock
no name japan made brake booster brace.
Interior:
pioneer 6400 cd player
Corbeau forza fix position drivers seat in red
corbeau 4 point harness in black
momo steering wheel hub
unknown name italian made 320mm wheel
vehicle comes with 4 supra wheels, good tires, and 2 z-speed racing wheels with drift tires. mounted
car has sun roof, cruise, working cold ac. all ammenity's work perfect.
car has excelent power and pulls all the way to 7500 redline. very good power for drifting.

yeah i know they aren't really made for the strip....but i was just wondering if they are like 14 sec cars or like 18 sec cars. What are popular mods/swaps for these cars to make them quicker? are they carbed?

AE86 is like calling a hatch an EG6 etc. (part of the VIN number)

Here is a directory to quite a few pictures of my car. there is pcitures from the day i picked it up. to pictures of my suspenion before it was put together..the hkd hi-power exhuast and then to the 5-zigen rocket exhuast.

yeah pretty much technically if your gona be **** like a lot of people are now days with the eg=eh2 in america an ae86 in america is an ae88.

These replies are kinda late.
Actually, the AE86 part is not related to the VIN. It's a chassis code. If you look on your firewall, the tag should read "Chassis: AE86". The AE88 is VIN designation for the US model, but the car is still an AE86.
Also, by asking whether it was an 85 or 86, he may have meant whether its an SR-5 (4A-C) or GT-S (4AGE).
The 4AGZE also came in the AW11 Mk1 MR2.
