Default What are the proper bottom end bearings to use for a ZC?

I'm at the point where I'm replacing the bottom end bearings for my ZC project. I know what rebuilding this motor is basically all '89 Integra, however, many bottom end parts can be shared between a D16A1 and A6. The oil pan gasket for example, and the rings too.
I went to the dealership and a D16A1 actually has colour co-ordinated bearing designation. The a numerical stamp on the tranny side of the block, and numbers stamped into the crank itself, at each journal, and cross-referencing the two gives you the proper 'coloured' bearing for that journal.

This is actually the second time I'm rebuilding this motor, however the first time I did not go through the dealership and replaced the connecting rod bearing using parts from local parts store. At the time, I ask for bearings for a '90 CRX Si 1.6L, and they fit perfectly and were never the cause of any problem. Also, CRX bearings don't seem to have this 'colour' designation.

I would like to know if anyone else, has come across this. Does the bearing designation for a D16A1 apply to a ZC? If I can't find the proper markings on the ZC block and crank, can I get away with D16A6 bearings?

After comparing the bearing designation charts of 3 different factory service manuals, I've came to the conclusion that all D-Series motors follow the same beargin designation.
I used factory service manuals for an '89 Integra LS, '90 CRX Si, and '93 Civic Si and noticed that the bearing designation charts were IDENTICAL! Almost as if all 3 pages from each manual were a photocopy of each other!

I looked at the marking on my ZC and the same markings and characters were in the same location as other D-Series motors. I now know which factory bearings I need.

I just finished putting my bottem back together and this is what I used , OEM D16a6 main and rod bearings, OEM 89 integra( D16a1) rings and a complete gasket& seal kit for 89 teg (D16a1). I would recomend hot tanking the block honing out the cylinders. Oh yeah that color coated bearing stuff is a bunch of BS eh.

**** on your build up.

I wanted to make sure this time because even though the rod bearings didn't cause a problem, when I took the engine apart, the bearings were heavily discoloured, along with the inside surface of the rod where the bearings seat.

I only feel like building this engine once, so for such items, I'm not going to argue with Honda's engineers. The different 'coloured' bearings are all the same price from the dealership anyway.

I have much more planned and already done to the ZC, but this time all the gaskets, bearings and seals are going to be factory.
