B18c --> 84mm, 84.5mm or 85mm?
well a B20 uses 84mm pistons so would say 84.5 would be a hair over 2ltr. B18's use 81mm pistons. Hope this is what you was looking for.
Agreed. If you don't mind the additional expense then you could go with GEs godzilla sleeves which is $100 more. GE claims that'll do fine with up to 86mm. Course if you go with 86mm then you'd have no room to bore if something scarred your cylinder walls. You'd have to re-sleeve again.
In retrospect this may be the best solution however as the cost of going from 85-86mm later is not much less than re-sleeving anyway, because you'd require new pistons. Of course downtime would increase. Whichever you're most comfortable with, I believe all of these options done properly should have little effect on reliability.

I am curious as to how you are getting a 86mm bore on a gsr will yield 2020cc's? By the defintion of displacement i am getting an 86mm bore on a gsr yields 2095cc's.
so definitely go 85mm?
sounds good
whats the difference between the godzilla sleeve and the regular one?

From what I've gathered there's no difference in the sleeves themselves only in the way GE sets them up. For only $100 more if you can get a warranty from GE for 86mm then that may well be the way to go, whether you go with 85mm bore or 86mm.
