Default OEM vs Aftermarket HID's

I saw a diversity of itr's i saw today, and was amazed at the skyline GTR

I came up to a good scenario i thought i might share with h-t. For those who already know, lets see what the others have to say.

Below is a picture of two integras:

The integra on the left is lower by about 1-2 inches.

The integra on the right is about 1 foot futher away.

And, the camera was not dead on. (thanks for bringing it to my attn)

The picture was taken a distance of about 100 ft away.

What do you think they are using for lighting?

I'll post some more pictures with a little more detail later on.

uhh because the one on the right, is showing purple on the top of the lens, if you notice the sunspots, they're purple. the one on the left is just pure white all the way around. i might be wrong, but looks like to me the left one is 4300K, right one is oem HID

It would be alot better with a shot of the beam pattern.

I don't know what this is trying to show. With digital cameras you can make any source of light look however you want it to depending how you set it.

Guess what lights I'm using here....all stock with AMBER corners Cameras are silly devices. And no I didn't doctor this image in Photoshop either.

i see 2 fake jdm R with parts/labor totaling in excess of $6000; money which could have been put towards buying ray/neomugen's bling 17" wheels (or kumho race tires for the next 12 seasons).

don't be afraid of soup, he's just some tall, quiet asian dude who is a car nerd like the rest of us.

This is a pointless thread. You cannot determine the lighting due to the crappy picture and cameras do not capture light very well anyway!

If you take pictures showing the light on the ground and against a wall we would be able to tell

-skafia, who hopes to be taking pictures of his OEM USDM HID's very soon...
