What kinda colors have you peeps sported your 97 GSR, 99-00 LS mesh wheels. I'm trying to see what else is out there so I'm looking for pics. Already tried search but turned up nothing. Right now, they're black w/ a polished lip.

Had them powder coated, well worth the money (only $250CAN), when I bought them they had some corrosion so they were sandblasted as well, came out looking brand new (and they still look new a year later).

 

did you give them a color code or did you just tell them gunmetal?

 

they had some colors to chose from, I think it was called "storm cloud", they also had a gunmetal color but it was too dark almost black.

 

did you take them to a powder coating shop ....or can any bodyshop powdercoat??

I like the mesh wheels on that teal EG, I was thinkin about doin that same scheme. They'res also another hatch here that has a black/red lip combo and I've seen another one with the mesh wheels powdercoated in gold, also a teal hatch.

 

THat's the cleanest gen 1 teg ive ever seen....

 

O.K. , I love all these rims. Right now I have some of these on my black 94 GSR and I think I should powdercoat them. Tryin to black out the whole car. I really like the color of CIVIC's rims but I want to polish the lip like the teal hatch. Anyone know how to polish them , or how much it caosts to have a shop do it?

Those ones on the teal hatch aren't polished more? The mesh rims (97GSR)I have aren't that shiny. If your right then can I polish them more?

 

Nice wheels, that is what mines look like but I was seeing if anyone did a different color. thanks for all the feedback. Keep them coming!
