ok my friend got this lip and i guess he didnt like the way it fit and how we had to alter it to make it fit. so i said let me trade you straight up, my CF hood for your lip. my hood is already faded (JHP.com special hood, some hong kong kind) with fade spots. so he said give me the hood after the show (this sat). well here's my bro installing it.

-ok the lip was pretty easy to put on, but with minor modifications. my friend bought it and thought it was straight bolt on but it wasnt. you'll have to trim the ends a little to make it fit. then you'll have to drill holes and you can use your existing bolts. i put the lip in its place then dabbed some whiteout through the existing holes to mark the holes to be drilled. then drill and bolt it right up to the bumper. whaaaLA
oh yeah its a VIS by the way

its been stolen before . but i was lucky.. pretty much took the deck and for a joy ride. they found it like 6 hours later. i just got super super super lucky.

 

BTW, did you use some kind of glue or epoxy or did you just bolt it up after fitting it???

The lip looks good on the car. So what if I called you a motherf---- from behind the computer as I was viewing the pictures, it just means I liked the way the lip looked installed . Nice car by the way.

I'm also assuming you are the younger brother, if not you better pull some rank and represent for the older brothers. We can't have the younger ones taking examples a revolting against us.

nope.. just bolted right up and fit pretty good, besides the trimming on the side. if you have a 99-00 just but the one that is for those years. if you have a 96-98 buy one for those years. they're made to bolt up, but you know things arent made perfect. other than that you dont need anything.........
