ok'd buy Breaka 1_9_ - HT EF form memeber in SCC this month
Let me start off by saying that I've been on Honda-Tech for about 2.5 years now and have seen a lot of members come and go.
This months edition of Sport Compact Car (SCC) in the readers ride a fellow member of Honda-tech and not to mention a EF memeber car was featured!
His name is Aaron D, and lives in Tenessee. His honda-tech name is 91CivicSi.
I don't know all of his mods but you can ask him your self. I know that he has a B18c1 with a greddy kit and XS Silvia core intercooler and a mild show car that concist of a full WingsWest RS kit.
I have always wanted to have a car like his. He along with other memebers here (arturbo, Blownhatch, Kenji, DIRep, Turbopanda, YumVtec, and ImportReview...jeff @ IB) have insipred me in different ways. I have attached a few post that Aaron has created.
Attn: Turbo B-series EFs! Which manifold for our cramped engine bays?
Like a phoenix from the ashes...(B18C1 into EF pics)
Pictures of my EF
Turbo Install Pics!!!!: 18G onto B18C1 in my 91 hatch (Dial-up beware)
Congratulation bro. In know that the pix of your car and description given were not as updated so please feel free to list you mods & etc. Please give him a shout out and help me congratulate him thus far in achieving part of his dreams. He doesn't have an 11 second car but he does have very nice & fast street car indeed.

Hey guys be more supportive. Aaron has accomplished alot.
I'm sure that there are a lot of other memebers out there that have done many mods to their cars & also deserve an applause but lets show some support to a fellow honda-tech memeber and EF/4thgen tunner!
48 views and only 2 post.... hum makes me kinda think about things

Aaron is a good friend of mine, and his car is absolutely beautiful. i had that greddy kit w/ SKYLINE xs engineering IC on my gs-r, and when i totalled it, he was the lucky recipient of the turbo setup. i cant wait to ride in his car now that its turbo. hes a really nice, cool guy.

I didnt feel like PW'ing, but I'd like to say congrats to him for his hard work. I'll be referencing that post when I do my install.
Thanks a lot guys. I really appreciate the support. Yea, unfortunately the mod list in the mag is a little dated. I'll try and remember most of them:
94 GSR motor, 89 CRX SiR Y1 tranny, HASport mounts, ACT XTSS clutch, Zex FW, Skunk2 IM, Greddy turbo manifold, Greddy TD05-18G, 2.5" DP, Thermal exhaust, HKS bov, Apexi VAFC, DSM 450s, Autometer EGT, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, A/F, and boost gauges, WW kit, Fiber Images hood, 91 CRX Si rear disks, Tokico Illuminas, Skunk2 coilovers. I think that's most of it.
I've got some 15" Group Ns sitting in my room waiting on my ES100s, a MSD 6BTM waiting to be installed and I'll be purchasing a Techedge WB in a few weeks.
Thanks guys.

congrats!
too bad SCC blows and is a crappy mag, but it still takes a lot to have them sift thru the hundreds of photos for them to pick yours!

very nice, I was psyched just to see an EF in there, but w/those mods and a HT member, even better
Does anyone else notice how SCC will have one ok issue followed my months of crap? I think they get lazy after doing some isuess. Ps If it wasnt for SCC I would have nothing to read at the grocery store while waiting around.

At least it is bringing some exposure to the compact market. Not to get down on Chevys and Fords, but there are way more magazines than what we have with some good quality to boot. It has progressed a lot in the last few years. Much better than Import Tuner, Super Street, etc... I mean it doesn't compare to Grass Roots, but you can't expect a publication that hasn't been around for a long time to compare to that. Remeber, they also spawned the Honda Tech (is that the name or is it Honda Tuner) magazine.
Sorry, just needed to get that off my chest. Anywho, good job on the car. Very clean. Wish I had the cash to actually do some stuff to mine and the Z. They are both very much on a low budget upgrade plan right now. Congrats, and keep going with the car. You are a definitely a great representative of the Honda-Tech community (I know I'm talking like I've been on this forum forever. From what I can tell though, you are one of the many quality members) Sorry, to ramble on and PW, but just wanted to say congrats (and voice my opinion about SCC).

By the way, a huge thanks is owed to Jeff C. He's done all of the work to my car. If not for him I would have a stock Civic and a house full of un-installed parts.
Hey I'm from TN. Alot of us are going to Atlanta on March 2nd for a HT meet. You should go.
