Default EF Fogging?

Is it just my Civic or does it happen to all of them? I swear, my Civic fogs up the windows like no other. Does yours? This is the only car I've been in that fogs up like this. Is it just me?

It used to for me until I realized I'm a dumbass and didn't know how to work the defroster.

Set the temperature to hot, set the vents to defroster, and then the blower to 2 or more and it should go away pretty soon.

..is this a really bad problem with the CRX/Civic? I have my 300zx and my heatercore is half shot and it fogs up really easily, until I put some stop-leak in the rad. It seems to be okay now but it doesn't warm up as fast.

How is the fogging during the winter? With your crx/hatch, if you leave it outside in the winter, how long does it take approximately for it to heat up?

when it was -25 here last week i'de start my car in the morning before work and it would be at 1/4 on the temp guage in about 15 min. i would put it on Vent and leave the fan on 2 and it wouldn't fog up inside.
now it's -10 to -5 outside and it takes 5-10 min to warm up

Yeah, i know how to take care of it. It's just that, i've never been in a car that fogs up so quickly and easily. I just thought it was weird.

I think mine are worse than everyone else's: Once I finally get the windows to defog by rolling down the windows and freezing my *** off(no A/C or heat), I'll be riding down the road with a clear window and BAM! it fogs up again in like 2 seconds and bad to where I can't see. Plus whenever I have the windows up and I breathe it only takes about 10-15 seconds for it to start fogging up again.

I think the fogging may have something to do with the fact that a lot of our cars leak when i rains. I know i get a little puddle in the spare tire well and I think there was a thread where other people posted similar happenings. fixing the leaks should help us out in this situation

I figured out the turning the fresh blower on and that helps alot. Whenever I get in it after b-ball game the thing fogs like a **** and its only me in the car. Oh well, I just roll down the windows smash the throttle. Instant defroster. lol

That's weird. I don't think I have ever really had a problem with this!!! A little defroster usually works if I do have a problem though!!!

I used to have this problem every time it rained or the temperature dropped...

This is what I did to prevent fogging:

- Clean interior side of all windows with Windex and paper towels / wiped them dry with newspaper.

- Applied 2 coats of "Rain-X Anti Fog" to interior side of all windows / buffed off excess Anti Fog.

This worked Wonders!! I haven't had a problem since!!
