What camber kit is everyone running?
I am undecided between 2 kits. Ingalls, and the Skunk2. BTW this is in a 96CX that is really eating tires. The car is dropped about 2.25 inches w/ Skunk2 coilovers. I need to buy a kit, just dont know which one to get. Any suggetions?

Skunk2.
If you use it on the track, be sure to replace the bolts in the sliding portion with bots that have larger heads. And use a star washer. And grind off the coating. Otherwise they might slip.

I swapped the front upper control arms to add some caster and as such, pick up additional negative camber on turn-in.
In the rear I have a Specialty Products adjustable upper control arm and have added about 1 deg. of negative. I might add more.
Tires getting eaten are quite commonly caused by excessive toe out...not necessarily too much camber. But I think your car is too low anyway.

Skunk2 front. nothing in the rear.
I also agree that toe is far worse on tire wear than camber. All the people who decide to "slam" their car without getting an alignment find that out the hard way...

I have an ingalls kit for sale if you are interested Chris....still brand new in box...but if you are using your car more for lapping days, you can't go wrong with Skunk2 ...err...self-modded Skunk2...
Skunk 2 in front. i replaced the crappy bolts with locking nuts/washers. that thing isn't gonna slip. if it does...JB weld
oh yeah and the Skunk 2 is a nice piece

hate to say it...but the more I look at the Ingalls kit....the more it looks like it'll be suited for a stunna riding 18inch chrome blangblangs.....
I wouldn't have much confidence running at speed with this kit....

I heard Specialty Products was better as the ingalls ones do sometimes snap... comptech sells Specialty Products camber kits as their own... (the logo with the native american dude)
I had the Ingalls on my GSR and wasn't too impressed with them. The rubber bushings were sqeaking.
I'd try Skunk or someone else before going back to Ingalls.

nothing up front, some generic job for the rears to tune out some of the negative camber. it has really big rubber bushings though, so i'm not quite sure how much i like it. maybe i'll make one with sperical bearings.........
