XXXXX (10:24:38 PM): it matches my 240 perfect
XXXXX (10:24:53 PM): i still owe nate 180 bucks, he helped me buy it
XXXXX (10:25:49 PM): i only paid 700 bucks for the front bumper, 2 front quarter panels, and hood, plus i bought the halogen projection lights instead of the stocks bulbs
XXXXX (10:26:18 PM): i got it through my uncle whos in england, he bought it then i bought it from him
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:26:24 PM): cool.
XXXXX (10:26:28 PM): yup
XXXXX (10:26:35 PM): itll turn some heads, lol
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:26:49 PM): yeah...
XXXXX (10:26:57 PM): when i went to an auto obsessions meet, they were like, holy ****!!! a skyline!!!
XXXXX (10:26:57 PM): lol
XXXXX (10:27:03 PM): i was like nah, its a 240
XXXXX (10:27:09 PM): i getta lotta **** for it though

XXXXX (10:29:20 PM): about the canuter valve?
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:29:25 PM): yeah
XXXXX (10:29:33 PM): im not sure i know what that is
XXXXX (10:29:50 PM): remember im the illiterate one
XXXXX (10:29:53 PM): lol
XXXXX (10:30:06 PM): does that have something to do with turbo

pinkfuzzydice69 (10:33:51 PM): well the canuter valve's a wear item. shld be replaced every 30k miles.
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:33:58 PM): i reccomend JDM.
XXXXX (10:34:31 PM): a wear item
XXXXX (10:34:34 PM): ?
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:34:53 PM): yeah
XXXXX (10:35:57 PM): this is gonna sound stupid, but what does it do?
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:36:43 PM): works with the intake to allow air to flow into the engine more freely. after wear it gets buildup.
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:36:49 PM): just a reccomendation.
XXXXX (10:37:03 PM): hmm, sounds kewl
XXXXX (10:37:20 PM): kinda like that tornado thing they adertise on t.v.?
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:37:36 PM): yeah
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:37:40 PM): like that
XXXXX (10:37:40 PM): kewl kewl

XXXXX (10:38:14 PM): damn!!
XXXXX (10:38:17 PM): not too bad!
XXXXX (10:38:27 PM): ill check it out thatnx for the advice!
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:41:17 PM): lol welcome.
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:41:21 PM): want any other advice?
XXXXX (10:41:34 PM): sure!! could use all the advice i can get
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:42:34 PM): make sure ur muffler bearings are in shape and tightened...that they're torqued properly.
XXXXX (10:43:23 PM): wow, i didnt even know i have muffler bearings, lol
XXXXX (10:43:42 PM): i have A.P.C. exhaust system
XXXXX (10:43:53 PM): with a proflare tip
XXXXX (10:44:14 PM): nothing to exotic, as long as it sounds like a rice burner, im happy, lol
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:44:56 PM): ok well right behind the muffler there's a set of bearings...they turn to allow the air to spin more freely and u gain a few hp and a richer sound.
XXXXX (10:45:24 PM): nice nice!!
XXXXX (10:45:54 PM): so why arent you working in some import shop showing all these guys whats up, you seem pretty knowledgeable
XXXXX (10:45:57 PM): lol
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:46:59 PM): OH also
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:47:22 PM): aling your rotator splint
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:47:25 PM): *align
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:47:30 PM): gives u better wheel control.
XXXXX (10:47:36 PM): alright
XXXXX (10:47:46 PM): damn, your awesome!!
XXXXX (10:47:47 PM): lol
pinkfuzzydice69 (10:48:13 PM): lol
XXXXX (10:48:44 PM): so, you seein someone of the opposite sex?

CLIFFS NOTES: This guy put a skyline front clip on a 240. I told him to replace his "canuter valve" and that he should go JDM. Then I told him to make sure that his "muffler bearings" were tightened and torqued properly. He thought I was an Import Goddess after telling him this stuff and proceeded to ask me out.

Cause we're interested in JDM stuff. The flare might be a little overkill, but looking at that guys site.... I refer to it alot of times, it has a complete sidemarker install walkthru, I personally like the look of the abs/lsd sticker that goes on the hatch window. SiR door panels, there isn't much to not like on his site...

Only thing is, the prelude fogs he put on his hatch look like crap.

usdm 96-98 civic HB have the mounting for the bolt molded into the paneling already.

so the flare bolt for the holder already has a place to be mounted.
i think its the same thing on ef, eg but its on the frame or something like that..

"safety is no joke"
