Need opinion, Carbon fiber fender or not?
I just got car accident, and I need to replace the hood and the fender....
Is that a good idea if I buy the carbon fiber fender? or keep it stock?
for the hood I will still use the carbonfiber hood...?
Please give me your opinion... thanks

It's up to you,the weight savings are not even worth thinkin' about so it's really an appearance issue. Basically, your paying for the "oooh,he's got carbon fiber fenders" & that's about it.
i had fenders for my EK i sold dem i mean it makes ur car a lil bit light those shyts weigh like nothing and it look great..and from the appearence of ur car u look like u lookin for looks...i say get the fenders

I would leave everything. Get two new stock fenders and a nice looking new bumbper and paint the car a nice silver to go with that hood of yours. Id say CB fenders is a little over doing it.
my front end used 2 be carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber fenders, and carbon fiber front lip..now its just the hood and lip i have...but yea man get the fenders looks great
where can you buy those CF fenders?
I would say go with the CF fenders if you want that bling factor but if not then just get some OEM fenders.

My friend shawn has them on his eg he has teh cf hood, cf fenders, and cf lip. I think ti looks good. But they are expensive to get good ones. If you got the money, do it. It loosk good IMO. THe weight thing isnt a difference. You could take a **** and lose the same amount of weight.
the stock fenders are light so they dont need to be replaced from a weight standpoint. as far as looks, i think cf fenders look like *** and you will end up painting them anyway, the weave will most likley not be perfect and they will stick out like a sore thumb... at which time you will realize you wasted $600. if you could take 20lbs off it would be a different story but its got to only be 5lbs total savings, imho
