Isn't the coupe bumper longer than the sedan?

well..the coupe/hb hood, bumper, fenders, and corners are different,

the corners are longer into the fender on the sedan. the sedan hood is flatter. the sedan bumper accomodates longer corners as well. everything is opp on the coupe/ hb.

id say to do it right get the whole coupe/hb bumper, hood, corner, fender package,

coupe fenders, hood , corners, etc..... wont fit on the 4 door

the coupe front bumper bolts on perfect in the front but you need to take out the bumper support or cut it up a little
on the sides you have to drill new holes to bolt on the fender, very easy
the sides dont line up perfect (same length, just slightly different shape) but very close, you might be able to use a heat gun and work the bumper to fit pretty close to perfect

I never thought about it that way...getting everything, but I do know the hood and headlights are the same. While the corner lights, bumper and fender are different. If not wanting to purchase everyhing then the only thing needed to make it work would be the front part of the fenders. If you purchase sedan fenders it will not work, I tried doing it the opposite way a few years back. I wanted the coupe/hatchback front end for my sedan. I matched up the fenders only to find out there was gap between the rear fender and door. It wouldn't work unless the 2/3dr fenders were cut in half only using the front portion of the fender. The corner lights could be fit on to work, they mated up, it was just the fender that car the rear problem. For information on this confusion, just toss me a PM cause you're asking about the 2/3dr to a 4 and I am telling about a 4dr to 2/3dr. Hope it makes sense.

sedan hoods and coupe/hb hoods are not the same. look at the two close the together. the coupe/hb has a much more noticable middle "hump"/curve.

I guess I may need to look into it, beyond that uncertainty everything else I stated is in correlation to the original post, vice versa on the models though.

my bro has a hb, i have a sedan, both eg. i also wanted to know if it would fit... so we did a swap.

my sedan bumper fit better on his hatch than his hatch bumper fit on my sedan. the hatch bumper on my sedan had about 1/2" gap on both sides too short. you could stretch it a little, but not that much. we tried the corner lights too, to see how it would look, it ended up the sedan corners looked better than the hatch corners. so in summary, coupe bumper too short on both sides in length. i have a special theory on how to make it work though....

hmmmm, well i don't know what to tell you... when we did it, it did not line up w/ the fenders on both sides, seriously about 1/2" too short, perhaps you modified something? i can tell you it is not a direct bolt-on.
