Default B18C on an STD hatch

Hey guys, just need some quick help.
Just looking for a shopping list of what would I need to get this swap on my 91 STD hatch.
I got the whole motor taken care of and mounts (I'm hearing place racing, what yall think)
Besides that, what else would I need. Thanks a lot. Any help is appreciated.

cable B16 trans

motor mounts-reccomend place or hasport, i have old hcps and i am not impressed with them, not sure if the newer grey ones are an improvement.

shift linkage- rewelded 90-93 teg or store bought.

radiator hoses, stock lower and 92-93 gsr upper.

trans fluid, motor oil and filter, and some wire.

if you use the gsr intake manifold, i have heard the firewall needs some bashing to clear it.

as for a shoping list.....
1 you will nead a jumper if you want to run the p72 (gsr ecu).... this is what i am running
2 if you do a lot of highway driving i would suggest a 91 -93 ls tranny
3 you will nead a 91-93 ls mount braket for the back

i have place raceing mounts they make a good product but they arnt that movated to sell it
but good luck

You will also need either the DX or Si front hubs. The STD hubs will not accept the B-series axles.

Or you could convert yours into muti point fuel injection. I have all the parts needed if you want. Also if you need si knuckles, I have those too. It came off of my 91 crx si when I did my swap. If you want larger calipers, I have a set of 90-91 civic ex knuckles.

As for you doing a b18c into a hatch, major parts have been covered so I'll just add a few others.

Mounts: I have hasport's new billet ones and it sits alittle high. Even with the hood support trimmed, the valve cover still rubs alittle. As for the GSR Intake manifold, you don't have to bash out the firewall for it to fit. I've never used other mounts besides the ones I have so I'm not sure if you'll have clearance issues with other brands like place or hcp.

Parts:
86-89 (or something like that/older models form the 90) integra cable vss. Just the actual cable wire itself and not the whole thing. Mine was alittle too short so I just replace the cable wire.

different heater hose, unless you don't mind it bending. Don't buy a universal one from the auto parts store cause they'll be way too big and get in the way, besides they don't bend too well.

use your stock clutch cable.

You could get the obd0-obd1 conversion harness from blownhatch

that's it for now

If im staying OBD0, do I have to change the GSR distributor? and if yes, which one do I need to replace it with?

yes, replace the dist with a either a jdm b16 (somewhat hard to find), a usdm 90-91 ls (112.21 at checker with return of core) which you will only be able to use the top post, and the front one must be cut, or use a 88-91 si dist, just swap out the cog for a b-series cog and cut the front post. i like this idea the best b/c with this dist you can use two posts.

I seriously recommend against using a pre-1992 ECU. The biggest reason for this is that none is designed for a B18C. You are basically stuck with 1G B16A ECUs, which have to be reprogrammed at great expense (compared to an ECU jumper) to properly run a B18C. Also, if you go with a PR3/PW0, you will have to purchase BOTH the ECU AND distributer. These are rather expensive and hard to find when purchased 'a la carte' (not part of a swap package). So why not just use the P72 ECU and GSR distributer that you already got with the motor? It is both cheaper and better. Also, you will not have to worry about either a secondary oxygen sensor or California emissions (if you live here).

What kind of wiring would I have to run to do this?

Hmmm...what kind of performance gains are expected of such a swap? Times? I'm interested, but wanna get one of the older ones instead of my '91 CRX Si. Any recommendations on which CRX to look for? So far I've heard get an '88 non-Si.

Will the GReddy Turbo kit for the GSR still function in the CRX w/ the swap or are there clearance issues?

Would you guyz recommend a stand alone ECU to save headaches of the wiring??? If so which one?

don't bother with the gsr, the work involved way out weighs the performance gained by trying to do it. Let the honda technicians do the thinking b16 obd0 in a obd0 car gsr obd1 in a obd1 car. I always try to use the same computer that came with the motor thats how they tuned it to run.

I'd try to get a B17A (GSR) tranny first.
