It also seems that with a 2.1 and a trap of almost 102mph you would pull better than a 13.7 but maybe thats just me. I just don't see a bolt on 93 Prelude running 13's@101mph.

Cool beans man

I hope to hit 12's with my ITR/EK and bolt-on's 13.60's@101 with I/H so far with a stock Si ecu (on drag radials: open header)

Now I have toda cam gears, DC jdm 4-1 (and stock 98 ITR ecu goes in soon) tuned VAFC and perhaps a Tilton clutch/fly combo (still cant refuse ACT price)

Stick with it man few people may believe you (who really cares anyway) but timeslips/vids dont lie.....keep the slip and the vid handy

well for all you haters...or non believers, there a few people on this board who were there, not to mention countless others on other boards, ive been running 14.0 for a month or so now, and have been trapping in the 101s already...ive got all my slips, and no the track is normal, no one understands why it runs so quick, but it does...i love the fact that my car is considered heavy and slow, yet pulls such god times...people always say there has to nitrous or some power adder, yet ..its never there...thanks to the people for giving me props, ive spent alot of hours trying to run 13 with my mods, and im very proud to have accomplished it...peace...btw as soon as i get to a scanner ill put up my slips for you all...and anyone in the central florida area that dont believe, let me know and ill meet you on wed or fri night to show u..peace

You must be one helluva driver to pull those times. Some people think they are the greatest until someone that is good comes around and does something they don't think is possible. Hopefully you'll be runnin when I make my trip to Florida this year. What track are you running?

I want to see the vid.

I am trying to make the Summit NHRA compact race there (Las Vegas) in March, I have a car show to attend (hosted by my local track, and I am the import series champ so...) but hopefully on my way back from Cali I can make the Turbo Mag seminar and race that weekend (15&16 March I think). I want a Wally really bad.

What kinda of drag radials are you running?

im glad some of you believe me...jesus...and what does my 60ft times have to do with my mph???...im not understanding that argument at all, its not like 60ft and traps go hand in hand.......and my entire list of mods is this.....
AEM cai, greddy SS header, apexi N1 exhaust, vafc, skunk2 cam gears, chipped p28 ecu, b and m FPR, i also have MSD wires, not that they help.....im on stock clutch, flywheel....stock internals, 1994 JDM h22a motor, jdm tranny ... it does however have a very odd tranny code that no one has yet to find...P2T4....one day ill figure it out, i also believe my motor came from europe as the tiing cover had 4 diff languages on it.....im sorry to those who dont believe my times...too bad you dont live in forida...once i get my slicks, manifold, and TB...im hoping to hit some 13.2s....later

Hmmm...H23 tranny? Okay.

So suddenly, everyone's running 13's with bolt on H22's? Wow...

Actually, they are related. You'll find that you'll trap higher if you spin during the launch (hence a higher 60ft time). And it's not unusual to trap lower when you hook really well. That's why there's some discussion on your 60ft and traps.

But hey, just get a vid and we'll all be

With that argument you will run into ET, weight and trap speed possibilitites.

2900lbs trapping 101mph is around 220-230 crank hp (might be on the high side) Most 2.2's could gain 15whp or more from some bolt-ons so it doesnt seem THAT immpossible....however running that low of an ET and maintaining a high trap speed means you must make a little more power.

Drag radials are still RADIALS which means 2.0 60's can still reflect decent mph's. With slicks and a 1.7 60' his mph would take a big hit at least 2-3 I would imagine.

Everyone is so quick to knock his times.....we should be giving eachother instead of trying to call BS.

All anyone can do is keep their slips and take a vid of the run...I do and it keeps the haters in check

hey sergEK have you ever seen the black prelude out at firebird with the plates MUGEN , his name is terry. he has a JDM h22 and I\H\E \JUN stage 2 cams\JUN gears\chipped ECU\VAFC\clutchmasters clucth and flywheel\and fully stripped interior and and only runs mid 14's on street tires. so this dudes times seem high to me. especially when i have an integ that weighs 1880 on the scales at firebird and i run a 50 shot and my times are 13.6 @ 101. and thats on slicks to. with an 80 shot i run 13.09 in an 1880 lb car.

i feel sorry for anyone with a lude with that much work done only running mid 14s...thats sad...there are a bunch of people whove run mid 14s with just i/h/e and jdm motors.....and i know that traction equates to slower traps, my point was that my 60 ft times were the same with the radials as they were with my street tires...2.1s and 2.2s...oh well....if u chose not to believe me then so be it, nothing i can do about that unless you live in or very near florida.
