Default Tein Springs

I found a Great deal on these springs and was wondering if anyone has tried or had any experience with them. Does anyone know is the spring rate on it is similar to any other companies? Any thoughts or comments about these springs???

atleast for itr, looks like front rate is 112-224 and rear is constant at 112....

this seems screwed up, atleast from my pov.....

either way they are "softer" than stock.

edit: maybe 783 and 559? hell thats confusing to read...

WHat are you guys looking at?

The DA9 is soft but look down at the springs at the DC2/4

"ACURA INTEGRA
DC2/4 94-01 STECH SKA18-AUB00
$230.00 6/336
4.9/274"

They are 336/224 (6/4.9). Not bad rates for a street car. A little low for most R's though.

Could some interpret the Spring rates fromt his site then. I got this from the Japanese site and it says they are for the DC2-R. Is it different fromt the spring rates above?

Scroll down till you see it.

They're the same. 6K kg/mm front, 4.9K kg/mm rear

Tein S-Tech SOFT.

Mediums
8k/6.9k = 447/385

Better IMO.

STech's actually appear to be progressive (I prefer Linear personally)

THey are actually

2.4-8 Front = 134-447
1.0-6.9 rear = 55.85-385

That being said you will never see the lowest setting since those couls will become compressed as soon as the cars weight is set on them. I have TEIN NA's with progressive springs and they did not ride nearly as good as the HA's Linear springs.

Right on. I prefer linear as well, although I can also appreciate the ride quality (as vague as it may make the feedback) of using progressive springs.

With the KGM DR Race's I used, after driving on them the first time and then removing them, they're now permanently 1.0"-1.5" shorter. The softer/fatter coils were practically bound with them installed and compressed.
