Default Primer Prep Info?

i was just wondering if anyone knoe's anything bout primerin up a car.. my car got keyed all around and my hommie told me to fill in the scratches wid bondo and sand it down.. does anyone knoe what grit to use??

nah, you dont have to use bondo if its just a scratch. what you have to do is sand it down using 150grit and "feather the scratch and paint until you cant feel the scratch and you can see different layers of paint, primer, ecoat. then sand the surrounding area with 320, then 600 grit around the entire repair area. mask it off, and use "professional" equipment and paints because spray canned primers are not compatible with the new paint when you are gonna have it painted. and because the "pro" primers are high build which allows you to block sand your panels straight so you wont see imperfections in the new paint job.

if you dont have access to these professional equipment/supplies, then just take your car to the shop.
