i like the sound. it gets especially loud when you dont have a resonator.

there are a lot of other topics on this exhaust. use the search button to find more on this.

Just ordered mine yesterday, 100 bucks for 2.25 or 2.5, but they're selling fast. It will be extremely loud without a resonator, be sure to pick one up if you're looking to keep the noise down at all.

Hey Brokestock, My boy had an ES muffler on his ek.. When he hits his powerband the muffler opens up like a dam N1... very nice and stock looking..... but very beastly at the same time....

it wont be as loud as a n1 style muffler is w/o the resonator. and it wont sound like a fart can either.

How does it sound in comparison to say the Apex World Sport? Im looking for something that is somewhat quiet at lower rpms but when you open it up it can scream. Nothing that sounds too tingy though...if that makes sense....im looking for something a little deeper and cleaner. Thanks

i've been through about five exhausts so far, and am currently running 2.25 piping with dynomax race magnum muffler, no resonator. when i start it up in the morning, and when the car isn't warmed up, i mean like warmed up from highway driving for about 10 minutes, it sounds raspy. but if it's warmed up it sounds pretty good. kinda loud for my taste though, should i get a resonator and quiet it down, would that take out the raspiness? or should i just get a new exhaust, i will have to redo the piping anyway to make room for a rear sway bar. thanks

Depends on what size piping you're using, or planning to use.

yea inlinefour. i actually ordered something from them last weekend and i dont even have it yet, they say the item was on backorder but i didnt get any call or email saying that. so waited and just hoped it would come in, finally i called and found out. i dont know what to say. i've ordered from them before and nothing really was wrong. till now

also if anyone has a pic of the es muffler on their car i would like to see how it looks. to be honest it looks kinda small, or something like that.

That sucks. I've ordered from them 4 times now, never a problem. In fact, I ordered my ES muffler yesterday, and it arrived at my house this afternoon. It is pretty small, that's why I like it, draws less attention.

I have a short video of my car with the es oval. I have had an apexi N1 and a Dunk, but this is by far my favorite exhaust, and I dont get bothered by the cops anymore. I can post the vid is someone will host it for me, It is very short about 17 seconds.

ES oval is what u want from what u want said ^ . Not loud at all IMO. Ive had both ES oval and N1 without a resonator and testpipe, the N1 one was LOUD.

What size do you recommend for a stock b18c1? 2.25 or 2.5?
