blah, getting all butthurt over a chassis code...call your civic wagon what you want to call it

yes we all know the wagon rocks and is the best car ever, but i am biased. Its good grounds for a sleeper...and no one has it, because no one wants it, so not too much trouble with people asking, "do you race your wagon"
maybe the term EF has been selected here since the car its a Jappanese made car in wich in real deal its trully a EF chassis code.... US didnt make the car or designed it or fabricated.... wich means its not a USDM concept ,, its a JDM concept.. wich means that US cant have the same chassis code bc it cant have the same thing japan does... its like having a Ford on japan and they changed it to Forud... doesnt matter what people call it.... its a EF car... bc it was designed to be a EF car.... just leave it alone.... maybe theres already a chassis code over here with EF... if they stick with one chassis code then they need more number in the VIN....
im not making fun, i used to have a (86 or 87 cant really remember)wagovan, it was accualy my first car, it was never going to die either, by the time i had to get rid of it (******* deer!) it had around 600,000km's on it.
the two chassis are differnt due to the problem that we drive on the other side of the road and car compaired to most other countries. so its 2 diff. chassis styles...JDM concept, yet made for US soil. i think thats fair...but i think everyone should reconsider what they (people sporting the EF badges) make fun of next time.

Well I live over in the UK & I have a real imported JDM SiR so I'm happy with it in a way but it does get confusing when ppl say abt a motor swap from a sohc to a b16a in a EF8! Also Euro vtecs were EE8's not EF8's.

whats the big deal....EVERYONE knows that when you mention the term EF, it relates to a 4G civic.....stop being such a cry baby!!!
does it offend you in some odd way? i hope not...

Actually if you look up information on how to read the VIN# you would find out that the "ED" or "EF" only defines the engine to that specific car.

Since I have a ZC mine is techniquely a EF7. If you have a B16 then your engine code is EF8.
